The Bane of the Shell Crawler

Made for GMTK Game Jam 2024 in 4 days!

A really quick tiny big adventure with platforms, some ridiculous precise jumps, shells, and a crab! In this game you play as a valiant hermit crab who is  in a quest to find the biggest shell ever! You may start  with the tiniest of shells, but that is just the start to find de biggest of shells!! This game is based on the Build to Scale theme for the Game Jam.

How to play:

Move with   W A S D

Jump with    SPACEBAR

Exit game with    ESC

This game was made for the 2024 GMTK GameJam, and it is my many firsts: the first game that I made and finished; the first GameJam I participated; my first game to be uploaded on itch.io... Having this in mind, don't expect too much hehe. But despite all this I really enjoyed making the game, and not only this is my first game,  it was also made in only 4 days all by myself, so I'm really proud of this.

I know the game is a little bit ruff around the edges but I really liked the idea and the main character, so I plan to keep working on this game after the jam is finished, having more time (and more sleep too).

PS: The ending of the game is a bit sudden... Sorry about that, didn't had the time to make a proper ending. This will be one of the fixes in the next built.
